Two interviews this week.

Very exciting news...we had two interviews this week. One with the Miami Herald and another with the Naples Daily News. Our hopes are high that our cause will get mentioned in one or both of these pubs this week!

February 29 is just right around the corner!

Almost two weeks away!

We're getting close!  The office is buzzing in hopes of what will soon be the last leap day, but the first of many more February 29's!

We can't say any names, but a particular presidential candidate whose name rhymes with Dolama may be focusing on our cause in his next several appearances!

We had an interview tonight!

As our big day draws near, we are garnering some attention from media outlets. It's very exciting! We had an interview tonight with a reporter in the Northeast and hopefully our story will make headlines across the US.

Keep your fingers crossed quads!

Craig's List postings are out

Look for us on Craig's list in the "gigs" section of major cities across the country. We are especially trying to touch cities where campaign activity is happening!

A new video!

This little guy got presents suitable for a one year old for his birthday in 2004...he was actually four by regular accounts, but is a leaper.

MySpace page is up!

Our recent addition of a MySpace page has connected us with all kinds of other leap day babies. While some may not exactly follow our struggle (citing that the lack of an annual birthday is what makes us special), they haven't grasped the power of AACD and those that suffer from it.

Just wait until you move to an area where the local government won't let you drink until the age of 84!

A new twist on our call for videos

We have been considering a full on charge to have leapers and our supporters ask presidential hopefuls what they think about our plight. If we do go forward with the campaign, we will be putting a call for submissions up on our YouTube page and on our website.

Since leap year is generally aligned with election years, this would be an excellent opportunity to get candidates on film, answering tough questions about leap day babies and the thought of ending leap year forever! We are still working out the bugs in our idea, but in the mean time, if any supporter would like to ask presidential hopefuls about leap day 08, leap year, or The Quadrennial Council, please do it! Post the video or send them to us to post.
